Wanless Tennis Junior Daytime Clinics

The Wanless Board is following the City of Toronto’s protocols to aid in helping to keep our members, staff, and community safe and healthy when using our facility. For our Daytime Clinics we’ve had to adjust some of our past practices. As such for 2020:

  • Under the City’s new guidelines all clinics will operate with a maximum of 6 to 1 ratio student to teacher
  • There will be no early drop offs
  • There will be no use of ball machines
  • Children enrolling in both AM and PM clinics must go home for lunch as the clubhouse is closed
  • Attendees must be at least 7 years old
  • Clinics will be offered weather permitting only as there is no clubhouse access
  • Attendees must use the hand sanitizer regularly and adhere to strict social distancing guidelines as directed by the instructors
  • Attendees must not handle teaching balls; however can move them with racquet or feet
  • Attendees will be able to use the clubhouse washroom, escorted by the club monitor who will ensure proper sanitation in between uses

Wanless Summer Daytime Clinics, one of North Toronto’s most popular programs, is designed for juniors from 7 to 15 years of age. Get your kids involved in a fun and healthy activity. Wanless Summer Daytime Clinics is a great way to improve tennis skills, instill confidence and independence, and develop new friendships. On the first day, instructors will assess skill levels and divide the juniors into groups according to their skill levels.

We are only offering daytime clinic programs to members. Junior memberships are available.

  • Half-day morning Daytime Clinics activities begin at 9 AM. Pick-ups are at 12 PM.
  • Half-day afternoon Daytime Clinics activities begin at 1 PM. Pick-ups are at 4 PM.
