Wanless Teams Go To Court!

Our adult teams are up and running! A record number of over 85 members registered for the assessments. Thanks to our pros Laura and Cyprien for donning their sorting caps. We have four women’s teams, three of which play in the Toronto Ladies Tennis League (TLTL), and one team in the North York Tennis League (NYTA). The two men’s teams play in the Toronto Men’s Tennis League. The teams have already played one or two matches each and, so far, the women’s TLTL Division 1 and TLTL B1 teams, and the men’s TMTL B2 team, are leading the pack with impressive victories over Thorncliffe Park, the Granite Club and Wychwood Park, respectively.

We are lucky to have a great crew of captains leading our teams:

So, if you see the ball really being whacked around the court and some seriously focused faces (yes, there are laughs too), then it might be one of our teams going at it, so stop a while, enjoy some great tennis, and cheer them on!

We hope you’re enjoying the early tennis season!
