Adult Spring News

Check out the adult programs that are starting this month:

• Friday night Live Ball starts April 15
• Friday night Adult Drop-in starting April 29
• Adult Thursday Morning Drop-ins start May 12
• Ladders will begin May 15. Information to follow at a later date.

Friday Night Live Ball

Live Ball starts this Friday! Live Ball is a fast-paced on-court experience that works on doubles strategy and strokes, particularly volleys.

How it works: Two “challengers” compete for points against two “champions”. Every point starts with a feed from the coach to the challengers. If the challengers win four (4) points before the champions win two (2) points, the challengers become the champions.

Payment of $20.00 per player will be made ten minutes before the start time at the courts using credit card or tap enabled device.

Friday night Adult Drop

The Friday night adult drop in will start on April 29.

Two courts will be reserved at 7:00 and 8:00 PM for round robin play. Intermediate members (self rating of 3.0 – 3.5) are encouraged to register for 7 PM play, advanced players (self rating of 4.0 – 4.5) should register for 8 PM.

Spots are available on a first-registered, first served-basis. There is no charge for the round robin matches.

Adult Daytime Doubles Drop-Ins

Lucky enough to have (some) daytime freedom for fun and play? Looking to expand your circle of available playing partners? The new Thursday morning adult drop-in will feature a round robin format to promote social interaction.

The Thursday morning drop-in is from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM and will start on May 12.

No registration is necessary, just show up and a volunteer will assign you to a court. Shuffles will occur every half hour.

Ladders

Men’s, Women’s, and Mixed Doubles Ladders will begin May 15. Registration will open May 2 and close at midnight on May 13. You can join at any time during the season and be placed in a box when they are reset.

Men’s and Women’s singles ladders will be reshuffled on the 15^th of every month. The mixed doubles ladder will be reshuffled every six weeks.

Did you know?

• The ball machine is available on weekdays from 10 AM to 4 PM (last booking at 3 PM) and on weekends from 1 PM to 7 PM (last booking at 6 PM).
• GameTime has a Waitlist feature. When viewing the grid of available courts and times, click on “Waitlist” in the top right corner. Click on “Join the Waitlist” and fill out the form. If a court becomes available, GameTime will automatically reserve the court for you if you have available bookings and send you an email.

Reminders

• Please cancel your booking if you are unable to play. Failure to show up for your booked court time will result in your booking privileges being suspended for 7 days.
• Cash is not accepted for any payments. All payments for ball machine rentals, guest fees, Live Ball, Junior Match Play, etc., must be paid by credit or debit card or tap-enabled device (phone, watch, etc.,) at the Clubhouse 10 minutes prior to the start of your booking.
