Registration is now open for Fall Tuesday Afternoon Organized Doubles (formerly known as Tuesday Afternoon House League). Play will begin on Tuesday, September 3 and continue for 7 weeks until October 15.
Registration is through CourtReserve and will close at midnight on August 27. Schedules will be sent out by August 30. Spaces are limited, so sign up now to avoid disappointment.
Matches take place at 11 AM, noon, and 1 PM. Please rate yourself according to the Tennis Canada Player Rating Scale. Each player should apply the scale based on only their serve and the weakest of their forehand or backhand. Please be realistic about your self-rating in order to help us set up good matches and avoid lop-sided ones.
Unlike Wednesday Evening House League, there are no teams and no required recording of scores. Pairings for each hour are set by the players to get balanced, fun games and should be adjusted during the hour if needed. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet new people and play more tennis. Having fun is the name of the game!
Finally, if you can't commit to at least four dates, please sign up as a spare – it is often difficult to find spares when there are numerous last-minute spare requests.
